Time is flying by me again, but I'm using this blog to keep track of my bakes, so I really need to spend a few minutes catching up with myself!
Back a couple or so weeks ago, when the temps were getting to ridiculously high levels (ok - not Arizona high levels, but ridiculous for me), and there was no way that I was going to crank up the oven to bread-baking temps of 500 or so. Inspired by Isand66's ever-lovely rolls, and a tweak by dabrownman on Mark Sinclair's potato rolls (http://weightloss-slim.fit/node/32954/potato-rolls-video%3C/a%3E%29, I decided that I would attempt some rolls (since I could bake them early in the morning at lower temps and so not heat up my kitchen too much).

Most definitely a great idea for a day too hot for a loaf-bake...

Theses look great and must taste yummy. Glad I could inspire you.
Happy Baking.

You know that the cream cheese is pulled directly from your formulae --- along with the concept that the best rolls are enriched doughs!
Quite seriously, I keep checking out your blog for inspiration, and these were the closest that I've come so far. A few of them made it in to the freezer, and were pulled out yesterday to hit the bush with my husband and one of his buddies. The reaction when they got home was that the other sandwiches were good, but the ones with these buns were "outstanding". Well - guess that means they're on the "repeat" list!
Thanks for all of your inspiration, and more so for your help and encouragement.
Happy baking (and scritches to the critters)
