The world renowned, iconic, Maltese Pastisti.
The shattering crisp is music to my ears.
It was an amazing exercise, Bringing memories of my mom flooding back. I still have half the dough, ( now ready for filling/freezing.); and half the filling. Hopping to try a get a more aesthetically pleasing, result. The dough ( the hardest part) I knocked out of the park! Smile... FYI, the nice looking batch were my sister Anna's bake.
